My Photo Manipulation Exhibit

Holla! I'm Charlotte!

I’m a 20 year old BAMMA Computer Arts student specialized in 3D Visualization in College of Arts & Technology. I’m an obsessed artsy when I was a child & art has been my passion ever since. My dream is to build my design career or empire. I’m currently expanding my online graphic design services for small business owners & bloggers.

1. fAIRY PHOTO MANIPULATION

I had art block when I started making my image manipulation projects, so I reused the old photos from my hard drive. And since I had struggled to find internet signals to download my photos, I manually recreated some shapes using 1 to 2 patterns. In this picture, I just want to create a concept by experimenting on photos. And wala!

2. Fire Gypsy Photo Manipulation

I liked how the bubble creates that firey effect on the woman, so I thought of making a photo manipulation of her transforming her powers into a beautiful masterpiece. Unfortunately, if I had another high resolution image of the wolf, it won’t came out like this.

3. Photo Manipulation

I was inspired by photos taken by (I forgot the name) in Facebook. The photos were taken in Ayala Mall in the evening, where he experimented with slow shutter speed and blurred Christmas lights. I always wanted to create something like that. So I thought I would overlay the lights

4. Photo Manipulation

I was also inspired by a photo manipulation I found on Pinterest about a girl falling from the sky. Even though it didn’t came out what I wanted, I was glad that I put my idea into action. I placed some glowing ocean waves & a fisheye warp effect to give that “falling” feeling from bird’s eyeview.

5. RED RIDING HOOD X HANSEL & GRETEL PHOTO MANIPULATION

My favorite character is red riding hood. And I figured I could incorporate Hansel 7 Gretel’s concept into hers. I wanted a vibrant background where red riding hood cross-overs the “Sweetland.” Achieved some blurry shadows & a vibrant wintery filter.

6. INDESTRUCTIBLE PHOTO MANIPULATION

When I first saw the picture of the guy bent down, I knew it was going to be a dark concept. And even if the wings are a little obvious, I still like this piece. I was surprised when I used Divided on the water splash. It creates that over empowerment over the character. If the photo was only high resolution, this would turn out well.

7. Strings Photo Enhancement

This was taken when I was on the playground in Taiwan. My cousin took this photo of me. It’s a really dark photo, but using all the channels, the curve adjustments, and selective color, i was able to achieve a festive looking work.

8. Bubbles Photo Enhancement

This was also taken in Taiwan with my dslr. I saw an old woman promoting her product on the park, and I knew it would be a great concept. I did a lot of blur modes, curve enhancements, even sharpen the woman to make it stand out.

9. IPHONE PHOTO MANIPULATION

I was scrolling down my relative and cousin’s shared photos when we were in Taiwan. Doodled with this simple phone my cousin captured in his Iphone 8. Never expected the outcome would turn out to become like this. Another city effect inspired photo.
